TheBlockadeisauniqueviewfromwithinonthemostmassive,longest,andpoliticallymostsignificantstudentprotestinthecountry,since1971,thatstartedinAprilof2009attheFacultyofhumanitiesandSocialSciencesinZagreb.Thestruggleagainstthecommercializationofeducationandtheblockadeofteachingclasseslastedfor34days.Therebellionspreadontomorethan20facultiesacrossthecountryandthestudentsbecameanactiveandrelevantpoliticalsubject.Thedirectorfollowedeverything:fromtheexhilaratingpreparationmeetingsandblockingofclassestothefirstsignsofexhaustion,throughpersonalsituationsanddiscussionslateatnight,fromtheinitialsupportofmostfacultymemberstothemomenttheyturnedtheirbacktothemovementandtheattempttoreachthemissingministerofeducation.Thisfilmshowsthattheblockadewasnotjustphysicalandthatithasamuchbroadermeaning.
