FranciscoMorázanhasbeeninCostaRicaforfivemonthswherehehasbeenappointedProvisionalChiefofState.IthascalledforelectionstoinstallaNationalConstituentAssembly,whichshouldbealegalstructuretotheCostaRicanstate.TheAssemblyhasdecreedthevalidityoftheconstitutionof1825,thesameasthatoftheCentralAmericanFederation;IthasdeclaredtheaccessionofCostaRicatotheRepublicofCentralAmerica.TwomonthslaterFranciscoMorazánisshotoneafternoononSeptember15,1842.
