Love Must Be Cherished

In one of the rooms of the dormitory of the worsted mill there live four girls-weavers: Katya, Tamara, Polina and Zina. The circumstances were such that Katya was accused of dishonesty. All the evidence is against her. Katya has to go through a breakup with her loved one who didn’t believe her. She leaves the plant and goes to a distant construction site. But her friends and the Komsomol committee actively interfere in Katya’s fate. They believe her, convinced that Katya is an honest person. In the story that happened to Katya, Zina played an unseemly role. In the end she realizes her mistake. Difficult trials befall Katya's friend, the young bricklayer Stepan. An honest guy, he only once, due to a combination of circumstances, makes a mistake in relation to Katya, which he subsequently tries to atone for. But Katya cannot forgive the insult that Stepan inflicted on her at the most difficult moment of her life.
