La comadrita

To escape from her lover Pantaleón, Nicolasa goes to the city as a servant. His employers decide to separate and leave the house in his charge for a year. She invites her sister Lupe and her husband to spend their honeymoon there. Macario and Doña Chole accompany them. Then Pedro, Nicolasa's friend, arrives and tells her that his girlfriend's parents do not approve of their wedding because she is poor. Nicolasa also invites them to the house, pretending that she is Pedro's and pretending to be servants to her friends. Their employers reconcile and when they leave for their second honeymoon they leave Nicolasa and her friends at home.
