Four childhood friends who have spent their school years together at desks enlist together in the army to serve their term. Their behavior, as soldiers, does not differ much from that as students and they create problems for their commander, the chaplain of the unit, and even their strict sergeant. The latter tries in vain to restrain them with potions and punishments.
