The mother of the girl Maruska, offended by her and her father for the damaged drawing and broken watch, leaves for the city, and does not know when she will return. Dad decides that he and Maruska will also leave wherever they look. But the girl doesn’t want to leave her home and her mother. And, in order to stall for time, she begins to tell her dad a fairy tale about how her mother, as a little girl, went on an adventure into the past to save him, where she survived terrible dangers and met amazing people.
