Frank is well organized, can study in peace thanks to his wealthy social background and has already secured a job in his father's company. But how a week can change your life, especially if you meet the love of your life in that one week. However, the Spanish exchange student Mercedes disappeared just as quickly and the only thing he knows about her is her home address in Lyon, France, where she studied. So he sets off there without further ado. His passenger, the slightly older car mechanic Tom, is simple-minded, knows the pitfalls of life, but enjoys every day. The unlikely couple begins a road trip full of surprises to Spain, during which they grow more and more together and ultimately grow beyond themselves.
