When they were kids, Phurin and Plerngpin were very close, so close that their parents decided that they would get married when they would be grown up. Phurin then went abroad for his studies. When he returns years later, he still intends to marry Plerngpin. However, Plerngpin, now a strong and independent woman, does not want to get married and wants to open her own restaurant. Since Phurin and both of their families still want to force her to get married, she and Phurin make a bet : if she can't make her restaurant a success during the delayed time, she'll have to marry him!
