Justice Sung II
The plot continues from the previous series, following Sung Shijie (played by Cheung Tat-ming) who, after offending Empress Dowager Cixi , goes into hiding with his wife Bai Linglong (played by Amy Kwok) and their son under assumed names. His identity is exposed due to the appearance of an orphan girl, Bai Xiaocui (played by Sherming Yiu). Fortunately, Prince Gong (played by Waise Lee) secures him a three-year appointment as a royal barrister in exchange for an imperial pardon token. Lai San (played by Dayo Wong) transforms from a street ruffian into a lawyer, engaging in intellectual battles with Sung Shijie over historically adapted cases such as "Iron Head General," "Ghost Murderer," "Heavenly Kingdom Rebel Son," and "Killing the Surrendered." The series connects its main storyline through multiple bizarre cases, interspersed with Sung Shijie's family conflicts and absurd encounters.
