In the four-part series Dolly for President, Ilse DeLange and Frank Evenblij travel to the American state of Tennessee, the place where Dolly Parton was born and where she still lives. They follow the life of the singer from the town of Sevierville, where Dolly was born into a dirt-poor family, to Nashville, where she celebrated her greatest successes.
