Digimon Adventure 02

In Digimon Adventure 02, set three years after the second movie, most of the original DigiDestined have moved on with their lives, though they still hold onto the memories of their past adventures. Taichi, Yamato, Koushiro, and Sora are in middle school, Jou is preparing for high school, and Mimi has moved to America. Takeru and Hikari continue their lives in Japan and meet new friends. These new friends, Daisuke, Miyako, and Iori, are soon revealed to be DigiDestined, each with their own Digimon partners and special devices called D3s. They are thrust into a new battle when a mysterious boy known as the Digimon Kaizer begins controlling Digimon and prevents them from evolving using Black Spires. With the help of Hikari and Takeru, the new team works together to defeat the Digimon Kaizer and free the Digital World from his control.
