From ICE trains to regional trains: Deutsche Bahn is facing major problems. Last year, more than one in three long-distance trains was late. Large parts of the rail network are in disrepair. Trains are canceled time and again. The four-part series “On the Job for the Railways” follows employees of Deutsche Bahn, Nordwestbahn, and the Federal Police at Hannover Central Station who are giving it their all—despite, or perhaps because of, the difficulties.
