splash!

Since 1998, the splash! Festival has been bringing music fans from all over Europe together year after year: with legendary hip-hop acts, but also plenty of reggae, dancehall and drum'n'bass. The festival has been at home in Ferropolis, the “City of Iron”, since 2009. Every year, tens of thousands of visitors celebrate on the former open-cast mine site amidst an inimitable backdrop of huge bucket-wheel excavators.
