Near The Fire

The work and life of the firefighter is central. The presentation is in the hands of John Jones. He obtained his fire brigade papers especially for this series and he also works as a firefighter in Dichtij Het Vuur. During his work with various fire brigades, he films everything he experiences. As the title suggests, the viewer is taken up close to the fire.
