Jekyll

In 1969, Italian director Giorgio Albertazzi took Robert Louis Stevenson's gothic novella and transformed it into a four-part contemporary allegory of duality, depravity and a man's dark impulses: When a series of brutal attacks are committed by a lunatic named Edward Hyde, the investigation leads to molecular biologist Henry Jekyll. But have the doctor's unorthodox experiments unlocked even grater horrors? Massimo Girotti, Ursula Davis, and Marina Berti co-star in this award-winning sceneggiati featuring stark black & white cinematography by Stelvio Massi.
