Germany at War: 1918-1941

Culled from a wealth of German newsreel footage and private sources, these images have been carefully chosen to give a broad appreciation and insight not only into the operations of the German armed forces, but also to the impact of the conflict on the home front, especially as it was brought home to the civilian population through the Allied bombing campaigns between 1942 and 1945. Brian Matthews narrates.
