The "Music & the Spoken Word" broadcast airs live via TV, radio, and Internet stream on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. (MST), featuring The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and The Orchestra at Temple Square. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir's first network radio program was first transmitted on radio on July 15, 1929, and broadcasted on television since October 1, 1949. PROGRAM NOTE: Each new season commences on July 24th, or on the Sunday before July 24th each year. The episode number for each broadcast is shown after the credits at the end of each broadcast.
