A number of Norwegian celebrities have gathered for custom and usage courses at Losby estate to learn how to form celebrity etiquette - with Wenche Foss as course leader. However, the intrigues are in line: Kjell Magne Bondevik is having an affair with Gro Harlem Brundtland, while a jealous Herborg Kråkevik desperately tried to check out Ari Behn. And Valgerd Svarstad Haugland shoots himself in the foot with a starting pistol during a champagne ski race in the garden.
