It deals with the roots of religious traditions using the example of individual objects. It turns out that these are integrated into everyday life, but with their religious aura point to a grip on the afterlife. The anthropologist Dr. Claudius Müller analyzes topics such as beer brewing in Africa, the origin of the term “totem and taboo”, which has been popular since Sigmund Freud, or the Indian “Lüftlmalerei” in the State Museum of Ethnology in Munich.
