HALO Awards

The HALO Awards, short for "Helping and Leading Others," were an annual television special and awards show created by Nickelodeon that ran from 2008 to 2016. These awards recognized and celebrated young people across the United States who had made a positive impact on their communities through acts of kindness, leadership, and service. The honorees, often referred to as "HALO Effect Heroes," were typically teenagers who inspired others with their dedication to various charitable causes and were featured in the televised event, which aimed to encourage youth involvement in philanthropy and community service.
