WWII The Road to Victory

For six years, the fast-shrinking free world lay in mortal danger of capitulating to the madness of fascist tyranny. In Europe, the Nazi "Blitzkrieg" had overrun Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and much of the rest of the continent, while pushing Britain and the Soviet Union to their respective breaking points. On the other side of the globe, the ruthless disciplined and determined Japanese Imperial Army and Navy were wreaking havoc in Asia and upon the Pacific Ocean. The Road to Victory tells the astonishing story of the courageous counterattack which put an end to the nightmare by 1945. Creating a vivid panorama of a struggle that simply had to be won.
