Soldiers for Hitler

The Second World War started by Hitler was criminal. After that, there was widespread consensus - even in Germany: But what about the role of those who led him, the "Soldier for Hitler"? This documentary series from the year 1998 offers a detailed overview of the extremely sensitive section of German history, which is of great relevance both historically and up to date. Documents, eyewitnesses and photos and film sections, some of which are published for the first time, tell of the rise, fall and fall as well as the "legacy" of the German Wehrmacht, whose image of decency and honesty is just as unsustainable as its characterization as a criminal organization.
