The Color of War

In its simplest form, World War II was a black and white struggle between good and evil. But the reality was much more complex and best captured in color. An astonishing set of color images and photographs from national archives and private collections, COLOR DE LA GUERRA opens up new perspectives on everyday life from all possible fronts. From the first recruits thrown into the breach to the sheer boredom between battles and the uniforms worn and the objects carried, this unparalleled saga is further illuminated with letters and journals, battlefield announcements and the sounds and songs of the time. .
