Karla Munhael is the recepcionist of the General Hospital of Rio de Janeiro; a real "dump" of the Carioca Public Healthy System. She is the one in charge of the E.R and the maximum authority there. Everyone is afraid of her even the director of the hospital M.D. Muza, more than the head nurse Sulamita, more than the mayor's daughter, Suzana Mães.
