If You Can Hear Us

Four-part documentary series that looks back on the Dutroux case, 25 years ago. It has been 25 years since the White March took place and Marc Dutroux was imprisoned. This documentary series shows how justice, politics, the victims' families and the Belgian population dealt with the Dutroux case. The largest mediatised kidnapping case Belgium has ever known, and shook it to its foundations. The image archive of the VRT and the RTBF joined forces for the first time to make a four-part documentary series based on hundreds of hours of rushes and news items.
