Isto é Matemática

Mathematics goes far beyond numbers and equations. Mathematics are ideas. The philosopher and mathematician Poincaré, for example, said that mathematics is the art of giving the same name to different things. Mathematics is the science of patterns. It happens whenever there is a pattern. Whenever something is repeated... in your daily life, on the streets, in traffic... These are ideas that materialize in every object you've ever observed... and maybe you never realized. Mathematics is life. Your life... and mine. I'm Rogério Martins... and I'm a mathematician.
