The Place Where Dream Starts

The story begins in Beijing in the 1970s. A group of army boys met unexpectedly at the Shichahai skating rink. They all joined the army, where Song Jingsheng was seriously injured for saving others. Xin Pingping, who was rescued by Song Jingsheng, fell in love with his savior, but Song only had Luo Dongna in his heart. After retiring from the army, Song Jingsheng, Xin Heizi, and Xiaopang set up individual restaurants to make a living by themselves, but Jingsheng's parents who had previously refused to accept Xin Pingping finally let go.
