Afro-Canada

Traces the presence of Afro-descendants in Canada, through more than 400 years of history. A major project that will leave no one indifferent, as much by its content and its historical and social significance as by its form. Documentary, fiction and animation are in the spotlight in this series which shows, for the first time, our collective Canadian history. A history that is marked by slavery, exile and the forced displacement of Afro-descendant communities, but above all, by their resistance. A necessary resistance to allow future generations to live together, fully and freely.
