Harrie Jekkers: Achter de Duinen

Harrie Jekkers talks about his youth in The Hague through songs and conferences. About his father from The Hague who loved ADO, clover jackets, beer and about his mother from The Hague who was more Hagenaer than Hagenees and who instilled in her son a love for the slightly more sublime things in life. But the performance will not get stuck in nostalgia about the safe fifties, when father still provided bread on the shelf that was spread by mother. The Hague, which has changed over the years, is also extensively discussed.
