Humboldt Road

Without Humboldt, we would not have boarded the Beagle, and we would not have been able to write 'Origin of Species'. — Charles Darwin I learned more from spending a day with Humboldt than I would have realized from several years on my own. — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe A Prussian scholar who achieved remarkable achievements in the fields of exploration, science, and writing. He was a globally influential figure whose name was used in the names of administrative districts, schools, ocean currents, animals, plants, minerals, etc., and is considered the last scholar to be able to influence a wide range of studies beyond academic fields. Based on the enormous legacy left by his parents, he explored South America and made achievements in various fields. We follow the path taken by his home bolt.
